Leland, NC has emerged as one of the fastest growing communities in southeastern North Carolina and is the centerpiece of northern Brunswick County’s continuing economic expansion. Its strategic location offers convenient access to Wilmington, Myrtle Beach, the coastal town of Southport, and the New Hanover and Brunswick County beaches.

During the winter months, temperatures tend to be in the 40s, but can fluctuate up or down by about 15 degrees. The coldest month is January, with an average minimum temperature of 35.8 degrees. Leland has an annual average precipitation rate of 57 inches, a relatively low number that allows for plenty of sunshine, no matter what the season.
